We are both proud and excited to announce our non-profit partner for the 3rd Annual Style Week Pittsburgh (SWP)–Dress for Success Pittsburgh (DFSPGH)! DFSPGH promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire and support to help them thrive. A portion of the proceeds raised from SWP’s Opening Event on August 12th will be donated to DFSPGH.
Style Week Pittsburgh™, the year’s most highly anticipated multi-day fashion event, returns for its 3rd year on August 12th -16th. Armed with a mission to raise the profile of fashion focused brands both in the region and beyond, this stellar week of fashion events will be the talk of the city!
All Featured Fashion Designers will gain the opportunity to introduce their brands to fashion editors, buyers, bloggers, and fashion enthusiasts in addition to being part of a national marketing and promotional campaign. Last year, Style Week Pittsburgh received over 10 million media impressions.

Style Week Pittsburgh™ is seeking Nominations for the 2015 Style Awards. Nominations end on May 22, 2015. The winners will be announced during Style Week Pittsburgh on August 13th at the Style Awards.

On Wednesday, July 23rd, Style Week Pittsburgh held a fabulous Private Media Event for its partners, sponsors, and vendors at The Cultural’s Elite in Downtown.
Yesterday, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh proclaimed August 11-17, 2014 as “Style Week Pittsburgh” in the City of Pittsburgh. A proclamation was presented to Style Week Pittsburgh’s Founder Wadria Taylor in Council Chambers by City Council President Bruce Kraus to recognize the impact of Style Week in helping to promote economic development within the region.
Some of the many highlights acknowledged in the Proclamation include:
“Whereas, Style Week Pittsburgh was created in order to use style and high fashion as a medium to help promote small business economic development within the Pittsburgh region; and,
Whereas, Style Week Pittsburgh’s signature fashion-focused events will illuminate the City of Pittsburgh under the international fashion spotlight, while enhancing fashion awareness, diversity, and inclusion within the region.”
